Our Natural Kaleido range of wood flooring is ideal for homeowners who prefer a traditional style. If you are bewildered by the all the stained colour choices or it is your first time buying wood flooring, natural colour is a safe choice that will never go out of fashion.

Photos for our Natural Kaleido range of products are not available by intent, since we believe the pictures don’t always accurately represent the general characteristics of the wood due to the limitation of cameras, changes in natural/artificial lighting and the relative inconsistencies of various displays on mobile devices or computer monitors. We strive to make our colours as accurate as possible, but images are always intended as a reference only and should not be regarded as the actual product. Unlike our stained Kaleido range of prefinished products, natural colours are universally similar therefore demonstrating each one of them by photographs are unnecessary.

We provide grading information for all our boards from our experienced veneer grader to ensure the product’s undertone and characteristic matches our customers’ expectations. For our Natural Kaleido range of flooring, grading is an important element and should be checked upon before ordering. Generally speaking, for a higher-grade board, you can expect a cleaner veneer with fewer to no knots and fillers, and vice versa. It should be noted that grading information serves not as a quality reference but only as a character reference. The structure and finishing quality remain consistent throughout our products, and in most scenarios, a lower grading board will not affect the undertone of the flooring as a whole.

Prime grade is the highest tier available in our veneer grading. Our team at the factory has carefully selected the wood to ensure the boards give a uniform and clean appearance. Consistency is in every element of the board as they contain very few, if any, pin knots and sapwood. Colour disparity on the board is also kept to an absolute minimum unless a reactive finishing process such as smoking has been applied to accentuate the variation and pattern. Just as its name suggests, prime-grade flooring is a prime investment for your home, not only provides you with years of enjoyment and service but also adds value over the years.

Why are we not offering hand samples for our Natural Kaleido range of products? We noticed that a small 12mm long sample piece does not accurately represent the laid and completed flooring in a house, and it may misstate and lead to a false expectation of our products as grading characteristics on the board vary in areas. On a single board, certain corners may show clear colour variations and knots while the remaining areas of the same board may appear as clean and consistent in patterns. However, if you wish to acquire a structure reference of our boards by looking at our samples, we are more than happy to help you with this.
