Description
Honey colour gained popularity in the 1960s and 1970s during the mid-century modern era with its warm and inviting tone. It was once championed as the interior colour of the century and a rare common ‘taste in style’ that was approved by residents from both blocs of the two powers. We curated this colour with a bandsaw mark finish on our flooring to give it a refreshing contemporary look, not to negotiate peace between friends and enemies, but to give homeowners a cosy atmosphere and an option that pairs well with various styles of furniture. Maybe, after being welcomed by our Honey flooring, the differences between the two will naturally disappear.
Bandsaw, also known as live-sawn flooring, is a unique type of hardwood finishing that has gained popularity among homeowners and designers who seek a rustic natural aesthetic look. Unlike traditional methods of cutting, the bandsaw is cut using a bandsaw mill across the wood at an angle, which produces boards with unique grain patterns and textures. The technique involves cutting the log in a way that preserves its natural rough characteristics, resulting in a more authentic look that showcases the wood’s original shape and beauty.
Choosing the right flooring to display from the hand sample is a crucial decision to make for your showroom.
