Description
Glamis Castle in Scotland is known as the childhood home of the late Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and its Royal connection. But something that is not so well-known, is that it is also the setting for Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Macbeth, in which Macbeth is titled as the ‘Thane of Glamis.’ Naming inspiration for our flooring arrived when walking on the natural trail behind the castle, we found several sculptures from the scenes of Shakespeare’s tragic play, carved from the oak trees grown on the Estate. In awe of its natural, aged dark brown appearance, we named this brown lacquer-finished wood covering after the Castle, hoping its new owner enjoys this stately flooring presence at his home, and maybe, bringing him literary ingenuity in creation.
Choosing the right flooring to display from the hand sample is a crucial decision to make for your showroom.
